Happy Self-Care Sunday!

I wish I could say that I was spending my Sunday relaxing as much as I did last Sunday, but today is a work day. As the old saying goes, "No rest for the wicked".

I wanted to talk about something from my last self-care Sunday post that I want to clarify. I mentioned in my last post that I was spending the day masking, using my essential oil diffuser & listening to relaxing music. However, I know that self-care is about more than masking and spa-like days, but sometimes that's all you can do to really take care of yourself.

This past week, in particular, was a pretty rough week for me. Self-doubt & insecurities plagued me pretty intensely. You know, one of those weeks where you judge yourself so much that you feel everything that you are and will be is a failure. I needed this Sunday to be more relaxing than the last but it's just not possible with an exam in my Legal Environments of Business class in a few days and work today.

Still, even if it's just an hour-long bath tonight or a 10-minute meditation session, any little bit helps!

To cap off this post, I want to say that if you're struggling with insecurities and had a really rough week that makes your whole life feel rough......give yourself a break and try to remember that one bad week doesn't equal a bad life. That's the kind of thing you need to hear and I needed to tell it to myself as well. Hope you have a great Sunday!
